Lucy F. Cherbas Lecture Series

Lucy Cherbas

The Lucy F. Cherbas Lecture Series was initiated in fall 2023 by the Drosophila Genomics Resource Center (DGRC) in the Department of Biology at Indiana University Bloomington. It honors Dr. Lucy Cherbas' legacy as an accomplished scientist who was instrumental in establishing the DGRC and expanded the utility of Drosophila cell cultures throughout her tenure with the DGRC.

This lecture series is organized by the DGRC in the Department of Biology. It is intended to highlight recent advances and promote the use of Drosophila cell culture to address basic biological questions.
