pC3G4 is a P-element vector that allows the direct insertion of identified promoter fragments in front of a Gal4 sequence. This vector is a derivative of pCaSpeR-3 (Thummel and Pirrotta, 1991) and pGaTB (Brand and Perrimon, 1993).
