This line adheres very tightly to the substrate. It forms clumps with cells piled on top of each other, but even in this condition it is hard to dislodge the cells from the substrate. We recommend using either trypsin or a cell scraper when transferring the cells; both techniques cause significant cell breakage, but we have had better luck with trypsin.
