Interpretation by Maurizio Gatti: This line contains six large metacetric/submetantric chromosomes, a pair of X chromosomes, a small metacentric chromosome (probably the centrometric region of the third chromosome with part of the proximal euchromatin), two acrocentric chromosomes (one small and the other very small) of uncertain origin, and one dot chromosome. The arms of three of the autosomes have abnormal lengths suggesting the occurrence of either translocations or exchanges between homologous chromosomes. The arms of both X chromosomes are too long, suggesting additional translocations.
